Debbie Cobb, LPC, NCC, CCTP, CMNCS
Founder & Owner of Cleansing Rain Counseling Service (CRCS) LLC
My desire to help others began in my teenage years and has grown into a lifelong calling. That early passion led me to pursue a BA in Biblical Education at Beulah University, followed by an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Richmont Graduate University, a Christian‑based institution committed to whole‑person care.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting children, adolescents, and adults facing a wide range of challenges—including sexual and physical trauma, ADHD, Serious Mental Illness (SMI), domestic violence, substance use, and relational distress. My experience spans individual, group, family, and couple counseling, as well as work in community and shelter settings.
Since founding Cleansing Rain Counseling Service (CRCS) in October 2022, I’ve remained committed to creating a safe, compassionate, and healing environment for individuals navigating life’s most difficult seasons. As a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia, and holding credentials as a National Certified Counselor (NCC), Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), and Certified Mental Health & Nutrition Clinical Specialist (CMNCS), I bring a holistic, integrative approach to therapy. My work centers on helping clients reclaim their voice, restore their sense of worth, and move toward emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual well‑being.
My Mission
I specialize in supporting female survivors of trauma, helping them reverse symptoms of rejection, guilt, and shame through empathetic talk therapy, healthy coping techniques, and nutritional guidance. My goal is to empower clients to reclaim autonomy and make life-affirming choices rooted in mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual wellness.
Therapeutic Approach
I believe healing begins with trust. I offer a safe, non-judgmental environment where clients are encouraged to embrace openness, honesty, and commitment to change. My eclectic treatment style is personalized to each individual, guiding them to:
Develop self-awareness, self-value, and self-love
Practice self-forgiveness and acceptance
Learn healthy coping strategies
Transform thought patterns and emotional responses
Mentorship & Professional Development
I’m passionate about mentoring the next generation of counselors. I offer Directed Experience to pre-licensed clinicians working toward LPC licensure in Georgia, fostering growth through guidance, support, and real-world experience.
